Adrian Pearsall Curvaceous Walnut Floor Lamp

Featured at Kensington It’s so hard to find vintage lamps with their shades in great condition yet here we have a suberb MCM floor lamp not only with its original shade intact but it’s also a real statement piece. It has four gently curving walnut “ribs” cradling a long linen shade in which the lighting is housed. The wooden ribs come together below before ending in a circular base. Attributed to Adrian Pearsall. To turn it on & off, just pull down the sculpted wooden ‘fixture’ that wraps around the middle brass rod.  This lamp gives off very nice light which emphasizes its form. A great piece that would be right at home in your MCM room, or as an accent with more contemporary pieces for a hint of vintage.
